Popular Nigerian artiste Davido has said the campaign against police brutality is far from being over.
The inspector general of police, Mohammed Adamu scrapped the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) after Nigerians took to the streets to demand disbandment of the police unit.
Reacting to the development on his Twitter page, the FEM crooner said the battle has not yet been won.
He said those that were unjustly arrested during peaceful protest should be released immediately.
The DMW boss also said there should be an executive order, a legislative action and a judicial panel of enquiry set up to prosecute the SARS operatives involved in various crimes.
“I’m on ground right now in Abuja and it’s chaos !! Whaaaaaat????? Over 20 protesters were arrested for no reason and they must be released .. they were shot at and arrested!! We can not take this!”
